Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to find and book a table with LastTable. This statement covers the LastTable app (iPhone and Android), LastTable Business for restaurants and this website (lasttable.ie).

How accessible it is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard behind EN 301 549. We have checked this ourselves; there has been no independent audit yet. We believe the app and website partly meet the standard.

• Screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack): buttons and controls have labels, and headings are marked as headings.
• Large text: layouts follow the phone's text size, and buttons and links are at least 44 points high.
• Colour: text and controls meet AA contrast, and availability and offers are never shown by colour alone.
• Languages: the app is available in several languages, including Arabic and Urdu laid out right to left.
• This website works with a keyboard, has a visible focus outline and needs no cookies or pop-ups.

What does not work well yet

• The map is hard to use with a screen reader. Every restaurant on the map is also in the list view.
• Restaurant photos are described by the restaurant; some may have short or missing descriptions.
• Floor-plan editing in LastTable Business needs drag and drop; the Tables list offers the same changes.
• Translations other than English and Arabic are drafts and may be unclear in places.

If something stops you booking or using LastTable, email support@lasttable.ie. Tell us what you were trying to do and which device you use. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and we can make a booking for you while we fix the problem.

Legal background

The European Accessibility Act applies to consumer e-commerce services from 28 June 2025. Very small businesses (microenterprises) that provide services are exempt from its requirements. We publish this statement anyway and follow the same standard as we grow.
